Our Influence

As a group we have  had a few very contrasting ideas which range from genres such as Pop to Grime to Rock. We have been conduction lots of research as a group to get a better understanding of the conventions that are in a specific genre. Furthermore it gave us a insight off what we would need to include into our music video. We as a group have discussed the possibility of different genres due to the type of music as us as individuals listen to. For example one member off our group Sean listens to and likes the genre of music grime, Wilson prefers House music, Maisie is influenced by Pop/Rap music and me personally I prefer the Pop genre. However saying this it looks most likely that the genre we will research into further detail as a group and will create a music video for is Pop. The main reason for this is due to the huge range and variety off music that we can choose from in the Pop genre. This will mean that it will be much easier as a group to decided upon a song that we all like and that we will believe as a group that we can create a successful music video for.
